| sorry about not keeping up with this thing. life has been busy. end of semester seems to bring twice as much homework due. last week was a tough one having 5 essays due and then volunteering all of my free time to the glastonbury toy shop (people donate toys so that parents who can't afford to buy toys for their kids can come and pick out toys for their kids). it made me completely exhausted, but it was worth it. so far this week i have 2 finals down, and the last 2 on thursday, then i'm am free from classes until jan. 22! woohoo! i'm pumped for a break. i will be working at the police station over break just cause i need the money. i have not gotten a second job yet, it seems all these places are hiring, but none want to call people who apply back. but that's ok, i have my eyes set for a place opening in february. i have almost all my Christmas shopping done, it's hectic getting out to the mall area, so i try to go at real random times before the big rush hits. we have limited Christmas decorations up mainly because we hate having to take them down, but we got the tree and the Christmas Ghetto up (our normal Christmas Village with Homies instead of the regular porcelain people). my 21st birthday is approaching soon, dec. 27th! and i'm really bad at keeping in touch with people, and i am sorry for that, but it seems as though everything became amazingly hectic after thanksgiving. i will try to do better, i promise!
ps. my father has arthritis in his foot (haha, we only make fun of him because he tries to use it as an excuse to get out of doing things) and will be having surgery on jan. 2. he won't be able to put any pressure on it for about a month, so please keep him in your prayers, and if you are in the area and want to see a movie, i'm sure he'd love to go with.

| to finally get a second job. i wouldn't say that i'm really picky about where i get a job, i just want someplace close so that i don't have to drive 15+ minutes to get to work. i applied online at CVS almost a week ago and haven't heard anything back yet, so today, i contacted the lady at Munsons again and i got an interview on wed. i'm pumped, i really need a second job at this point. instead of my savings growing, they are starting to deplete a little which will only be worse when it comes time to shop for Christmas. also, i will finally get my raise and all the money they've been cheating us supervisors out of for the past 5 pay periods. that check will come in right before thanksgiving, a nice little holiday treat.

| so i'm sitting here trying to finish my midterm that's due at 7, and i wish i hadn't put it off for two weeks due to the fact that i cannot focus at all and i still have the 3 essays left...oi.
